This colorful little sign hanging on the wall on one of San Marco's little back streets caught my eye with it's great iron work and the bright red against the ochre of the building behind it. I have altered it digitally to create a more painterly effect to emphasize the richness of the colors.

I am drawn to the light, to color, texture and shapes, and to stories told in the images I shoot.
