As I wondered around the Villa Lecchi where I was staying, I came into the dining room and saw this vase sitting on the mantle. Its quintessential cypress design and the tapestry backdrop spoke to me of Tuscany.

I am drawn to the light, to color, texture and shapes, and to stories told in the images I shoot.
